Of course, since then, many decompilations and other reverse engineering efforts have taken center stage, and I now realize that code is much more malleable than I originally thought. How can you make code for one system run on another? It seemed like there was nothing that could be done. what can be done about it? Back in 2017, I remember wishing another game ( Midnight Club III) had a PC port because I was travelling and PCSX2 ran like shit on my laptop, but at the time I couldn't think of any way to do it without a source code leak. But that raises the million dollar question.
